Success Stories
Over the past IPS has worked with many clients to deliver the following successful
projects. In each case, project was delivered on time, within budget with business
performance enhancement such as cost reduction, cycle time reduction, quality improvement
and productivity improvement. IPS delivered:
- Cost Cutting and Productivity Improvement: This entierprise wide system
reduces cycle time for Kuka Robot Ladder Logic Audit Process from 40 hours to 2 hours. It
will be ultimately used by Daimler Chrysler Controls Engineers. According to

- Scheduling and Resource Management: Delivery of a Scheduling and Resource Management
System for Society of Manufacturing Engineers. This system helps
SME Office Services Division schedule work and manage resources which eventually results in
reduction of cost and improvement in ROI through better resource utilization
eRecruiting and Application Tracking: An enterprise wide system to integrate IVR and Web
applications to allow potential candidates to apply for jobs using telephone and the web. This system
was used by the users and the HR department across the United States. It also helped the HR department
schedule candidates for interview and screen candidates for interview.
Web based Training: A web based multi media application used by over 1000 distributors
for training and employee retention purpose. This system reduced overall training cost
and helped the HR department address career needs for their employees by developing succession-progression
plans
Product Life Cycle Management (PLM): An enterprise wide Engineering and Manufacturing
CAD/CAM/CAE/PDM system to integrate many functions within the company. This system reduced cycle time
and overall costs, and improved productivity by bringing manufacturing issues upfront during design.
Technology Consulting : An assessment of business situation to develop technology strategy and high level
technology infrastructure to consolidate call centers and data centers to reduce cost.
Followed a structured process to select appropriate vendors. This overall strategy and plan helped
customer to reduce cost significantly and made them more cost competitive
Business Process Reengineering (BPR): A Reengineered Business Process for Product Engineering
and Manufacturing to reduce cycle time and cost. The new process helped customer to saved more than one million dollar
yearly by eliminating non-value added activities within the process.
Disaster Recovery Planning: Assess current technology environment of a multinational client to
consolidate 20+ data centers and develop a company wide disaster recovery plan with appropriate tools and
processes.
